Let the success stories begin...........................

BRETT & AVERY VANN

Well, you know how I LOVE to brag on my little ones, who aren't so little anymore!!  :-)  As you know Avery was Little Miss Dothan (2011), she has made A honor roll every 9 weeks since Kindergarten. Last year she was a representative for her classroom in the Heard academic bowl. This year she is a homeroom representative for SGA.  She continues to take dance and is actually dancing in The Nutcracker this weekend.
Brett has also made straight As since kindergarten.  He was named a Duke Tip scholar for the past two years (this was awarded to students who made 95% or higher on the ARMT plus in reading or in math).  He was elected SGA president at Heard Magnet (2012-2013), and was also voted Jr. Fire Marshall by his 5th grade class.  Brett will be representing his class in the spelling bee also.
I love the idea of an alumi blog!!  I know that my kids learned valuable skills and tools that are making them successful in elementary school because of all of the loving teachers and staff at Evergreen!!  Joy

THANK YOU JOY for your participation in our blog for the alumni.  Please spread the word to other parents who have children that attended the Evergreen Touchstones Program. We want to keep in touch with each and every one of our children!!!  WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH BRETT AND AVERY!!! You are both great role models for the children in our community.  Thank you for being a part of the Evergreen Family!!!!  Keep in touch!!!  We want to know if you keep ALL "A's" the next time report cards go home!!!  What a WONDERFUL family!!!!
